| Adult Karate (13+ Years) The style of Karate taught is Wado Ryu which means "Way of Peace" or "Way of Harmony". The adult class follows a re core curriculum based upon traditional Wado Ryu. Sensei Harding also draws from his study under Sensei Rowe to instigate a principle based approach to Martial Arts. Core components of the teaching - Kihon Waza - traditional basic techniques which are used for skill learning
- Renraku waza - traditional combinations of techniques. These enhance skill learning still further.
- Kata - Mnemonic forms to allow students to retain movement skills. These are practised from three perspectives namely health, skill and application
- Formal Pairs Work - a variety exercises designed to further skill learning in using pre arranged two man forms.
- Pad work - teaches distance and how to land a powerful strike on something solid
- Break-falls - how fall safely
- Locks, chokes and take downs - the close in items for when fights get nasty
- Sensitivity Drills - learning to "feel" what an opponent is doing
- Self Defence - All of the above applied in a free flowing controlled fight

Qigong As part of his studies under Sensei Rowe, Sensei Harding has begun a long road of learning to use Qigong (Chinese health promoting exercises). These work in a different way to normal exercise and will appear more and more in both warm up and cool down phases of the classes. The Qigong set itself serves as a basic foundation for engaging and using all the foundation principles on which martial arts rest.
