Welcome to the website of Kokorowa Karate an independent karate serving the Camberley and Farnborough area in Surrey.
THERE IS NO TRAINING ON 4 MAY 2009 (BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY) AS THE HALL IS NOT OPEN TO US.
MONDAY NIGHT WILL HAPPEN AS USUAL ON 10 MAY.
THERE WILL ALSO BE NO TRAINING SESSION ON 25 MAY. THURSDAY NIGHT ADULTS SESSIONS CARRY ON AS USUAL.
The club was founded by its instructor, Sensei Ken Harding, in 2005 and has grown steadily since that date. We focus on teaching high quality karate with an emphasis on application and practicality, balancing this with an approach which maintains contact with karate’s origins and traditions. Tuition is available for children and adults.
The club is affliiated to Shikon Budo Kai a premier martial arts association head by Sensei Steve Rowe, 8th Dan, with whom Sensei Ken trains on a regular basis.Through Shikon, the club is registered with the Martial Arts Standards Agency a body set up to promote basic standards of professional practice within the martial arts as a whole.
